Prayers Answered for Lori Harless Grauso

Just wanted to share some good news with my buddies.  Lord knows I have had enough bad news lately.

Finally got into see Andrew Fowler, a great cardiologist here at Northpark.  Took me almost a year to get in.  He ordered an echocardiogram and set my follow up appointment for last Friday.

I am on cloud nine at the good report.  I had reports before that left me thinking I would not be around  for the next reunion.

Dr. Fowler says my cholesterol is wonderful, my BMI is in normal range and even my weight is normal.  LOL   Also, my test on my heart for my replacement valves still functioning properly was in his words, “GREAT.”  I am so thankful for your continued prayers for me and my family.  Of course we never know what the Lord holds in store for us, but this does give me plenty to be thankful for.

  1. Hi Lori,
I didn’t know you had heart problems. I’m so glad you finally got in to see the doctor you wanted, and got good news. One of my closest girlfriends here in Cincinnati had open heart surgery just last week; she’s hoping to be moved to cardiac rehab today.
Take good care of yourself — I look forward to seeing you at the next reunion.
    My very best wishes, Judi

    • Yes, had triple by-pass in 1999. One of the best things I did for myself was take advantage of their 12-week re-hab program with exercise to get me ready to return to work. Please tell your friend good luck and good luck with re-hab. It really gets your ready to face the world again. Can’t wait to see you again. Thanks for your prayers.

  2. Thank you Jackie. Not a day goes by that I do not thank God each morning for being here and for my life. And….each night I say a prayer for God to give me a day just like today. Some days better than others, but I know that God gives us trials and test us on our faith. Take care my good friend. Please continue to pray for us all. Love my classmates and the Class of 1965. And…also thank Bob for keeping us together through this web site. I hope more classmates take advantage of this opportunity to stay in touch.
